Brown Rice Requested... =)

K, haven't made it for a while, so this is memory only and might not be the best. If I realize that I do anything significantly different, when I next make some, then I'll post an update, K?

*Put 2 cups rice,

*5 cups water,

*1/4 cup of flaxseeds,

*and 1-2 tbs. of butter, in a pot, on high,

*then put a timer on for 55 minutes.

*After it begins boiling, turn down to med-low and

*add finely chopped onions and garlic to taste
(umm, a small onion and 4-5 cloves of garlic?),

*maybe 2 chicken or beef buillion cubes (if so desire),

*and shake in some pepper, salt, and maybe basil or chives.

*When finished seasoning, and stirring it all together,

*make sure it's simmering (very) gently and put a lid on it.

*Don't stir it too often, mostly just leave it 'til the hour's up. =)

Good luck... I love you!

Okay, I'm a Slacker, I admit it!

Blogging is not a talent of mine, that's for sure! I haven't even gotten on my email, let alone informed y'all of this site! Sorry! Life is busy and computers are no longer my daily companions, that's all.

I promise I love you all (you will eventually be given the opportunity to read this, I promise that too) and I miss you and we'll be connected again, one of these days!

Love Forever,
Ang

I do believe it's time...

...to share this blog.

LOL =)=)=) It's only been "available" since April, is all! =)

I'm not really wanting to, but I feel some kind of weird responsibility to do so. (Don't ask, I'm unsure of an explanation at the moment.)
Anyway, I'm going to email as many of you as I can and share this address with you, K? If you visit, and comment frequently, then I'll try and post more. Sooo... if you desire more of the written word (haha) from me you'll need to write a few words yourself! =)=)=)

Love you all so very much!

Marriage License Anyone? Anyone?!!

Sooo... we're finally wed! Yay! =)=)=) Life is good. =)

I am sooo grateful for all the beautiful people that helped me pull off this wedding and reception! I never could have done it alone, that's for sure. =) Jess and I started off planning it all together, but it soon became clear that neither one of us are "party-planners"... thankfully there are several angels out there with talents galore that saved us. =)
There's only one thing we forgot... can you guess what it was?

Yep, you guessed it! A little thing we like to call a "marriage license"!!!
Oopsies. =)
We'd already acknowledged that the cancellation wasn't going to come through and that the wedding would take place in the backyard, but then even that couldn't happen!

After putting our thinking caps together we decided Vegas wasn't such a bad place after all! =) (Actually, it was a pretty awful place and definitely deserves the name "Sin City" but...) They let you get married whenever you want, so we took advantage of their generous nature and "got hitched"! Our Firebird still wasn't running, so we didn't know how we would get there, but Suzette & Jeremy decided to have a "second honeymoon" and drive us to Vegas. Rachael lent us her car (better gas mileage and all that) and off we went! =) Our legal marriage date is the 17th of August, 2008, but we drove through the night and Suzette never slept, sooo... the 16th is still our anniversary date, right? Right?? LOL =)=)=)

As crazy as it all was, it was actually an amazingly good experience. Things played out in a way that, at first, I thought was sooo NOT cool but then, after it all, we were able to recognize some hidden lessons and benefits of it all. =) (If you want to know more, you'll have to call me and hope that we have a minute to talk! Good Luck!)
I'm continuously amazed by God's crazy-seeming plans and miracles! He creates such good stuff outta crap! =)=)=)

Well, I wanted to share more details about the reception, for all those who couldn't make it, but I've just hit my exhaustion point.
Sorry folks, this newlywed's got to get herself to bed!
Sleep's important, don't'cha know. =)=)=)=)=)

Love ya,
Angelina (officially) Bunker

The date is set... are you excited?! =)=)=)

I don't know about my blogging abilities... I've neglected to get on here after some monumental happenings! (Life is crazy enough, I say, without feeling responsible for a blog! LOL =)
But here goes anyway...

Okay, so Jess proposed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! True, it's been a month and a half since he did, so you'd think there wouldn't be quite so many exclamation points, but still even just thinking about it thrills me to pieces! =)=)=) Yay, I'm officially engaged!!!!!!!!!
He did it perfectly. =) He thought it all out and was marvelously romantic and completely surprised me. =) It was Valentine's Day, which may seem cliche to some (and, to be perfectly honest, would have to me in times past) but was actually very cool, because the 13th & 14th of February were our old anniversaries and he wanted to change them back into happy days. And he succeeded! =)
I wasn't expecting it at all (until a bit before he knelt down) and the ring is absolutely perfect! Almost everyone says something similar to, "It's just perfect for you!" (I never knew it could be so much fun to have a diamond on my finger! =)=)=)

We've decided that the 16th of August is the perfect day for the wedding. Not only is it the perfect distance into the future (and conveniently before fall semester, I might add)... it's also when we first met, back when we were sixteen!
How romantic can it get? We'll be wed twelve years to the day that we first locked eyes and fell in love... brought back together by uncanny circumstances, after an entire decade of having not a clue where the other was in the world!
I love it!!! God is good!!! And love is real!!! Yay, crazy earth-life! LOL

Okay, so Zeke is fussing for me and my finger is killing me from typing (oh yeah, I should probably mention that... I got into a car wreck... my car flipped onto the side, I was hanging by my seatbelt, they had to cut open the windshield to get me out... ugly. Thankfully, the only real damage was a broken finger - like I said, God is good - but it still really hurts to type), so I gotta go. =)

Catch ya later,
Angelina

We'll be The Bunker Family soon enough, anyway.

I know it might be silly, but I had to start it now... just in case someone else stole the name before I got to it, you know?
(So what if we're not technically a family yet! =)
Really, what happened was that I finally took the opportunity to check out my friend's family blog, and decided that "This is brilliant! I'd like to do that someday, so people won't be so grumpy with me about their lack of pictures and stuff!"
And then it asked me if I wanted to create a blog and, well, here we are... =)=)=)

I won't tell any of you about it until Jess and I are happily-ever-aftering. (That'll give me plenty of time to get used to the idea of blogging before you'll actually expect me to do it! =)

Until next time,
Angelina Bunker
(hehe =)
